evil urges

my morning jacket's evil urges officially came out today, & despite what some are saying, it really is a great fucking album...while the complete package may not reach the overall expectations set by previous efforts, it's definitely still an incredible addition to the catalog, with individual moments that match up with some of the band's best work...& the mixture of indie rock, country, soul, & even techno only confirms jim james beliefs that music really isn't about genres, but about emotions...if you haven't already picked up the album, you can stream it in it's entirety here.
