broken social scene presents: brendan canning

so, may seems to have gotten off to a bit of a slow start around these parts...might have something to do with the beautiful weather we've been having...or not...anyway, one slept on item of note from earlier this week is the news that the second of the broken social scene presents series will arrive on july 22, highlighting the talents of brendan canning, possessor of the band's best beard...the album's being called something for all of us... (love those ellipseses), & the folks over at arts & crafts were generous enough to provide a glimpse from it in the form of "hit the wall", which is pretty much your standard bss jam...in other words, it's awesome.
