i'm heading to cleveland this weekend to see two of my best friends get married, finally taking the plunge after nine years of pussyfooting around...as a result, i'll be missing out on one of the best lineups of the summer at this year's pitchfork music festival...as well as spoon's free show at schubas tonight, chromeo & flosstradamus at the empty bottle tommorow & widespread panic at the chicago theater all weekend...that's a pretty amazing weekend of music & i know some of you are thinking "for god's sake, we'd all like to flee to the cleve, & club up & down in the flats, & have lunch with little richard, but we fight those urges because we have responsibilities"...well, concerts come & go & come back again before you know it...the rowland/traina wedding is a once in a lifetime event that i'd never miss out on...can't wait...also, dg will be hanging around town, so hopefully he fills us in on what i missed..
