three big chicago shows going on sale in the next couple days, & i'm guessing they'll all sell out right away...beastie boys at riviera theatre, 09.26 (on sale saturday @ 10am), ryan adams & the cardinals at chicago theatre, 09.29 (on sale saturday @ noon) & stevie wonder at charter one pavilion, 09.10 (on sale monday @10am)...a couple reasons you may want to make it to these shows; the beastie boys are playing a rare instrumental concert, full of the funky jazz workouts from their new album, the mix-up...ryan adams has supposedly cleaned up his act, which hopefully means a tighter show & fewer on stage smoke breaks...& you really don't need a special reason to see stevie wonder's first tour in 12 years...it's stevie fucking wonder...for more upcoming chicago concerts, check the reader's early warnings page.
