here's the title track to sharon jones & the dap-kings new album, 100 days, 100 nights, available oct. 2...now, i realize amy winehouse is getting a lot of hype for reinventing herself as a soul singer on her most recent album (the one where she's backed by the dap-kings) & she sounds pretty good, too...but sharon jones is the real deal...this isn't neo-soul or retro-soul or soul-revival, it's just soul music & it's really good...get on board...even more exciting than an upcoming sharon jones & the dap-kings album is an upcoming sharon jones & the dap-kings live show...seriously, even the most cross armed hipsters will be dancing...they're coming to the park west in chicago on nov. 15 & to turner hall in milwaukee on nov. 17...go see them.
