walter meego beatmaker, colin yarck, grew up in the house behind mine...i still hear his little sisters screaming in their backyard when i go home to visit my parents...anyways, it's good to see that he's doing well for himself, the chicago dance-pop duo recently signed to almost gold recordings (the label started by bjork/arcade fire manager scott rodger) & their first full-length album should be out by the end of the year...they're currently touring with vhs or beta & will be at subterranean this coming monday & tuesday...speaking of neighbors, see if you can hear my morning jacket's jim james helping out his fellow louisvillians on the vhs or beta track below.download: walter meego - wanna be a star
