i was looking through the latest issue of esquire & came across a short article on artist wayne white...it immediately brought to mind lambchop's fantastic 2000 album, nixon, for which white did the cover art...a 70's soul experiment from a modern countrypolitan band, with strings, horns & vibraphone prominently featured, the album feels timeless...it also happens to contain my favorite lambchop song ever...put this one on repeat.download: lambchop - up with people
