i didn't make it to the black mountain show at empty bottle last week (a little busy watching the cubs blow game one in arizona) & therefore, didn't pick up the tour-only 12-inch...so, i won't be able to access the digital preview of the band's forthcoming album, in the future, on 11/13 & will most likely be waiting until january to hear the album when it's released, but i guess i can live with that...in the meantime, the band's released the tracklist & cover art (which looks fantastic by the way) on their website...if you're not familiar with black mountain's excellent brand of "prog-psych-folk-rock", here are a couple tracks from their 2005 self-titled debut.download: black mountain - don't run our hearts around
