candace somehow got her hands on the remote control the other night & decided it was a good idea that we watch the last half hour of 27 dresses on hbo...it wasn't...however, i did get pretty excited when the credits rolled, & not just because the movie was over, but because i had never heard chaka khan's version of this great rotary connection tune, which played during them...what a diva.
related: i thought it was pretty cool when i found out that chaka khan performed at one of my old man's high school dances back in the day...that is until candace told me who played at one of her mom's dances...little stevie wonder!
