the other writer on this blog is the king of hyping up concerts that we can't get to (broken social scene in st. petersberg, midlake in brussels, jim james in san diego, etc.)...so, even though i won't be in new york tommorow, i thought i'd mention that this free show looks phenomenal....

they're have been a ton of great free shows in NYC, like the New Pornos with Midlake, Band of Horses with Annuals, TV on the Radio, Ted Leo and The Thermals, Superchunk, Old 97's, Chavez, The Hold Steady, M.Ward, the list goes on.....
