free andrew bird show

i missed this when it was announced last week, but it appears that andrew bird will be headlining a free concert at the jay pritzker pavillion in millennium park on wednesday, september 3rd...very cool...although he'll be performing most of the show with a full band, bird says he's "especially excited about playing some solo pieces and trying to fill such a limitless space"...let's just hope the folks on the lawn will shut up long enough for that to happen...in the mean time, here are a couple tunes from soldier on, bird's wonderful tour only european ep from last year.
